U Cosmetic was founded by Dr Kim Meathrel and Dr Caroline Sangers.

Dr. Meathrel and Dr. Sangers have combined their extensive professional skills with a unique results driven focus and a caring and dedicated nature that has won the praise and admiration of their patients and colleagues alike.

Dr Kim Meathrel
Dr Kim Meathrel, BSc, MD, FRCSC is the Medical Director of U Cosmetic. Dr Meathrel is a fully trained plastic surgeon certified by the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada.



Dr Caroline Sangers
Dr Caroline Sangers, MD, CCFP is the assistant Medical Director of U Cosmetic. Dr Sangers has been trained in cosmetic medical procedures such as botox, fillers and various laser treatments and minor surgical procedures.



Cosmetic Medicine and LASER Treatments:

On your first consultation you will meet with either Dr. Meathrel or Dr. Sangers.
Your medical history will be recorded and you will be asked to identify your concerns and goals.

Together with Dr. Meathrel or Sangers, you will create a customized treatment plan and pre-treatment photos will be taken at the initial consult. If your treatment plan includes Botox or Fillers, these treatments may be administered at the time of your initial consult. If your treatment plan includes any of the lasers or the Ultrashape, your treatment times will be booked prior to leaving your consult.

Plastic Surgery:

On your first consultation you will meet with Dr Meathrel. You will be asked to identify your concerns and goals. You will also be asked to provide details of your past medical history.

Dr. Meathrel will complete a physical exam and preoperative photos will be taken for your medical record. Once Dr. Meathrel makes her recommendations, you will have an opportunity to ask questions and will be provided with reading material to take home. All surgical procedures require a minimum of two preoperative visits with Dr. Meathrel. You may book your second preoperative visit prior to leaving your consult visit. Your consultation fee is $100.
